A daily excursion to the medieval capital of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, national hero of Albania. This historic city hangs on the walls of the mountains Krujë and offers stunning views on its surroundings and by clear weather, up to Durres and the Adriatic sea.
Hotel pick-up and drive to Kruja, bastion of the resistance against the Ottoman during the 15th century. During the antiquity the place was used for pagan rituals. Later it became an important Christian location and had its own bishop. Kruja has been under the control of the Ottoman army for several centuries and object of battlefield of various anti-Ottoman rebellions and later revolts. This excurion is an immersion inside a merge of cultures, religions and wars.

Direction Sarissalltik which is one of the most significant religious places in Albania. The place is the epicenter of dissemination of the Bektashi order in Albania.
